KAWASAKI PROMOTES RACING MANAGERS
Kawasaki promotes Dan Fahie and Ryan Holliday
As Kawasaki’s racing program continues to find success on the track, Kawasaki Motors Corp., U.S.A. (KMC) announced the promotions of Dan Fahie to Senior Manager, Racing and Ryan Holliday to the role of Manager, Team Green™.
“We’re extremely proud of the winning tradition the Kawasaki racing program has been able to maintain over the years and we know our team off the track plays as much of a role in our success as the riders,” said Kawasaki Vice President, Marketing and Racing Chris Brull. “Dan and Ryan have continued this tradition and have our professional and amateur teams back on top. The future of the Team Green program is extremely bright with many great, young competitors leading the way.”
Fahie has worked in multiple aspects of racing throughout his 15 years at KMC. The Canadian native has been the Monster Energy Kawasaki Team Manager since late 2011, working on improving the program with a variety of successful riders and crewmembers. Fahie began his progression with KMC as a Road Racing Crew Chief and holds his Master’s Degree in Management from the University of Redlands. In his new role, he will oversee all racing departments and will report to Brull.
Holliday obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Advertising with a minor in Business Administration from West Virginia University and has nine years of experience at KMC. The motocross enthusiast grew up racing and has always had a passion for the business side of the sport. Before coming to KMC, he targeted WVU because of its location near motocross promoter and magazine Racer X. Holliday has been the Team Green Supervisor since October 2008 and will now oversee Team Green. In the new role Holliday will take on management responsibilities and become more involved in the marketing and sales side of KMC. He will report to Fahie.
Both Holliday and Fahie will begin their new roles on July 1.
