Kawasaki is testing ZX-RR MotoGP racebikes at Eastern Creek Raceway, in Sydney, Australia. Kawasaki’s regular test rider Olivier Jacque and Tamaki Serizawa rode both 2008 and 2009 versions of the ZX-RR on Friday and will continue testing on Saturday, according to the official MotoGP website. Kawasaki Heavy Industries (KHI) has announced that it will not field a factory team in 2009, but MotoGP rights holders Dorna is trying to convince KHI to make the factory team’s bikes available to a privately-run team.
