Brian Stokes, Jeff Wood and Nate Kern each won multiple CCS sprint races Sunday at Barber Motorsports Park, in Birmingham, Alabama.

Team Stargel’s Stokes came out on top of a three-way, race-long battle with Even Steel Performance’s Ben Thompson and Arclight Suzuki’s Wood in the thrilling Unlimited Grand Prix race. Stokes rode a Suzuki GSX-R1000 fitted with 16.5-inch Michelin slicks, Thompson rode a Suzuki GSX-R1000 equipped with 16.5-inch Dunlop slicks and Wood rode a Suzuki GSX-R750 with Dunlop DOT-labeled tires. Five bikelengths separated the three men at the finish line.

Earlier in the day, Stokes used his GSX-R1000 to beat GSX-R750-mounted Wood in the Unlimited Supersport race. Corse Superbike’s Andy Feuersthaler finished third on another GSX-R750.

Wood beat Stokes in a GSX-R600 vs. Kawasaki ZX-6R battle in Middleweight Supersport and beat Feuersthaler in a GSX-R750 duel in Heavyweight Supersport.

As he did Saturday, Kern dominated the competition in the Lightweight Supersport, Lightweight Superbike and Lightweight Grand Prix classes on his Pirelli-shod Main Line BMW R 1200 S.
