(Dec. 12, 2012) Champion motorcycle racer and owner Kevin Erion has teamed with ACAT Global to provide product development, sales and marketing for the company’s line of lightweight and efficient catalytic converter products to the motorcycle and powersports industries. “No one can match the success Kevin Erion and Erion Racing have had in road racing and his experience will be invaluable to ACAT,” said Joseph A. Erion became the most successful independent team owner in the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) paddock while overseeing Erion Racing (http://www.erionracing.com/ ). After winning two AMA national titles as a rider in the late 1980s, Erion won more national titles as a team owner than anyone in AMA road racing history, including seven Formula Xtreme Championships between 1997 and 2008. He also restores motorcycles, with his current project being a 1969 Triumph Bonneville.
