Bermuda Motorcycle Racing Club Travels to California for Three Days of Training and Road Racing Newly-formed M1-GP/TSO 125 Team to Ride Side-by-Side with Bermudians; Sponsorship Opportunities Remain On Friday, November 7, 2008, premier track company and riding school M1-Grand Prix (M1-GP) is welcoming the Bermuda Motorcycle Racing Club (BMRC) to three excitement-packed days of Cali-style road racing and training at Grangé Motor Circuit and Willow Springs, both located in southern California. Adding heartfelt value to this memorable event, M1-GP will commemorate the occasion in its feature-length film, A Mini GP Experience, which will pay tribute to the memory of Bermudian Rookies Cup rider Toriano “The Animal” Wilson. Not only will the seven Bermudian riders in attendance gain valuable insight and on-the-track training from the M1-GP crew, but they will also enjoy riding side-by-side with the newly formed M1-GP/TSO 125 Team. The three-day event will conclude with a race co-hosted by the California Motorcycle Road Racing Association (CMRRA). The M1-Grand Prix/TSO 125 Team formed late in the summer of 2008 and is now training nonstop. Team members Justin Ducut and Rocky Morales are following a strict training regime and plan to compete in the US 125 Grand Prix National Championship® series of the USGPRU, with hopes of earning a MotoGP wildcard ride to the 2009 MotoGP in Indianapolis. M1-Grand Prix/TSO 125 Team rider, Justin Ducut comments, “I’m really looking forward to racing with the M1-Grand Prix/TSO 125 Team. Rocky (Morales) is going to be a big challenge to me this year.” Ducut concludes, “I try to get on the track once or twice a week and train every day. Racing is my passion. It’s what I love to do.” Rocky Morales chimes in, “I’ve been training hard to get in the best shape possible. Spending time on the track and with Justin (Ducut) and the M1-GP crew is really helping me to prepare for the USGPRU.
