The AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am PGA Tour golf championship continued today with round three at Skyglass Hill Golf Course for three-time motorcycle World Champion and Legend of Laguna Seca Kenny Roberts SR. with his team mate, professional golfer Mark Calcavecchia. The first round was played at Poppy Hills with team Roberts/Calcavecchia ending up two back from the lead. Friday had the team at Pebble Beach and the duo ended up fourteen under going into the third round. Today at Spyglass Hills Golf Course the team finished 20 under. Team Calcavecchia/Roberts is currently tied for sixth and that easily qualified them for Sunday’s final round at Pebble Beach. They will be teeing off at 9:25 am. “It’s a tough tournament. The six-hour rounds are a lot longer than a motorcycle race,” said Roberts. “The greens are tough and the weather is tough. It’s a tough tournament to play. But glad I’m playing well and made the final round with my team-mate.”
