KTM Hires Greg Blackwell as VP of PG&A

Blackwell to head development of Parts, Garments & Accessories

Murrieta, CA – KTM North America, Inc. is excited to announce the hiring of Greg Blackwell to fulfill the recently created role as Vice President of Parts, Garments & Accessories (PG&A).

The need for the position came in late 2014 as the PG&A department experienced exponential growth in KTM’s PowerParts, PowerWear and SpareParts divisions; accounting for 20% of the brand’s success. The consumer demand for this department called for a qualified candidate to take the lead on all operations; the answer was clear to bring Blackwell onboard to assist its ongoing expansion.

“Growing our parts and accessory business is the top priority for us moving forward,” stated Jon-Erik Burleson, President of KTM North America, Inc. “We are fortunate to have the opportunity to bring Greg, with all of his experience in the aftermarket side of the business, to our team. Combining his experience with the KTM brand will be a big step for us, and most importantly, our dealer’s business.”

Prior to his role at KTM, Blackwell spent 14-years with the LeMans Corporation, parent company of Parts Unlimited/Drag Specialties, as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing. His vast experience with industry aftermarket products created a perfect match for the position KTM was looking to fill.

Blackwell is excited to lead the expanding PG&A Team and commented, “Our goal is to increase communication between KTM personnel and KTM dealers, expand support to our district sales managers, develop authentic, co-branded product that offers unique sales opportunities for our dealers while delivering exciting product that pairs with KTM’s “READY TO RACE’ philosophy.”

Blackwell continued, “KTM and I are excited to grow the PG&A branch of the company which will allow us to offer larger opportunities and margins to our dealers. I am confident our initiatives will excite the customers of KTM as they will be able to further immerse themselves in the lifestyle and culture that is KTM.”
