, Spain – It was an intense two days of racing in Jerez, Spain over the weekend as 30 of the world’s fastest young road racers took to the Circuito de Velocidad for the KTM RC Cup World Final. North American KTM riders put forth a valiant effort on the global stage but it was U.S. rider Cory Ventura who shined brightest with a top-five overall finish at the prestigious event.

In its two-race format, the KTM RC Cup World Final put together an impressive grid of riders from participating KTM subsidiaries in North America, Asia, Finland, France, Germany, The Netherlands, Mexico and the United Kingdom – each battling for the top honor of being the best-of-the-best in RC Cup racing worldwide. 15-year-old Spanish rider Brian Hart came away with the overall victory with a race score of (5-2), while Ventura came in as the top North American rider with (6-5) race finishes for fifth overall.

Additionally, MotoAmerica KTM RC Cup Champion Benjamin Smith (USA) finished 18th overall for the weekend, with Draik Beauchamp (USA) in 21st, Jackson Blackmon (USA) in 22nd and Alex Dumas (CAN) in 23rd.
