KTM/HMC Superbike Team Debuts New Look for Road America

Elkhart Lake, WI – The KTM/HMC Superbike Racing Team featuring Chris Fillmore and Taylor Knapp is excited to launch a new look for the second round of the AMA Pro SuperBike Racing season to remain consistent with the rebranding of all KTM racing teams.

The new paint job reflects the blue and orange coloring that has been seen on both the motocross and off-road factory KTM racing teams.

“We are very excited about the new team colors,” commented KTM Product Line Manager John Hinz. “The new colors help our bike stand out on the track and we felt Road America was the perfect course to launch the change as it is considered our team’s hometown race.”

The KTM/HMC Team, based in Cato, WI has been heavily focused on the development of the motorcycle since the first race two months ago. “We have made great progress on the motorcycle and feel like we should have a great showing at our local race,” commented KTM/HMC Superbike Team Manager Mitch Hansen.

While the weather calls for rain it does not scare away this team. “Fillmore and Knapp are both great riders under any conditions,” stated Hansen. “Fillmore has had great success at this course before under wet circumstances and we are hoping, if the weather is bad, that we can repeat that success.”
