Toolee Motorsports is pleased to announce Lee Kuhn Jr’s participation in the 2011 Harley-Davidson XR1200 Cup, part of the Canadian Superbike Championship series sponsored by Parts Canada. “We have always been a Harley Davidson family,” said Kuhn. “My grandma rides a custom Sportster. She is one of the founding members of the Hamilton H.O.G. Chapter, as is my dad who rode and raced Harleys. It is so cool to continue on the family tradition.” Kuhn’s 2011 Toolee Motorsports Harley Davidson XR1200X will be race prepared by his father, team owner Lee Kuhn Sr, using the spec Vance & Hines race kit along with suspension components from Race Tech. “The top XR’s in the 2010 AMA Pro Vance & Hines XR1200 series were Race Tech equipped,” said Lee Sr. ” I wouldn’t consider another suspension company.” Lee Kuhn Jr is a 13 time Mini GP champion in Canada and the Unites States. He started road racing at the National level in 2008, where he finished 2nd in the Parts Canada Superbike, Honda CBR Cup. Along with being a fulltime med student, he most recently raced a Toolee Motorsports Triumph Daytona 675 in the 2010 Parts Canada Superbike, AM 600 class, finishing 4th at the penultimate round at AMP in Shubenacadie, Nova Scotia. Sponsorship details for the 2011 season will be announced shortly.
