AMA Pro GoPro Daytona SportBike racer Kyle Wyman will miss this coming weekend’s Triumph Superbike Classic at Barber Motorsports Park after breaking his right arm while training on his mountain bike June 18 in Birmingham, Alabama. “I broke my radius very close to the wrist and will undergo surgery to repair the displaced break [Wednesday] or Thursday,” Wyman posted to his Facebook page June 18. “I’ll keep everyone posted as they will likely insert a plate and multiple screws in my wrist. Thank you all for the continued support and stay tuned for more updates!” Wyman is planning to have surgery at the hands of Dr. Maury Harwood near San Jose, California. After racing and winning in the AMA Pro Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson/XR1200 class in past seasons, Wyman announced in May that he would race a Millennium Technologies-sponsored Triumph Daytona 675R for the remainder of the 2013 AMA Pro GoPro Daytona SportBike Championship.
