MACEDON, N.Y. (May 22) — After a successful Daytona 200 debut with a 6th place result, Kyle Wyman Racing has extended its partnership with Millennium Technologies to compete in the remainder of the AMA Pro Daytona Sportbike series. Wyman, who is currently 7th in points, will continue competition next weekend, May 30 – June 1, at Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wis. riding the #33 KWR/Millennium Technologies Yamaha YZF-R6.
“My whole end game in my racing endeavors is to put myself in a position to field a DSB effort,” Wyman said. “I love racing the XR1200, and that class has given me opportunities in business and racing that I otherwise would not have, but the goal is to be competitive on 600 machinery. Thanks to Millennium Technologies, we have a very solid package to compete in both championships and I’m excited to continue and build on our partnership.”
The Plymouth, Wis. based Millennium Technologies, just a short drive from the track in Elkhart Lake, considers Road America to be their homecoming event of the season. Their family of companies, including Revolution Performance and Ballistic Performance Components, have deep roots in racing and have supported teams from a wide variety of disciplines.
“We are very pleased to expand our partnership with Kyle Wyman Racing and support a continued effort in the AMA Pro Daytona Sportbike series,” said Chip Spalding, Director of Motorsports Marketing for Millennium Technologies family of companies. “Kyle has proven time and again that his efforts both on and off the race track provide invaluable exposure to our brands. We look forward to our home race at Road America and connecting with fans in our area.”
