Layoffs At Daytona Motorsports Group

This morning a round of lay-offs swept through the Daytona Beach, Florida offices of Daytona Motorsports Group (DMG), the Jim France-led company that currently does business as AMA Pro Racing and promotes the AMA Pro Road Racing Championship Series. Staffers who were laid off include Director of Road Racing Bill Syfan and Director of Timing and Scoring Jim Wardell. More details to follow when available.
