The 2012 season has already started for LCR Team! The technical crew that will follow up the new Moto2 Champion Stefan Bradl in the next season starting with round 1 in Qatar on the 6th of April, flew to Japan to learn from the HRC engineers how to “tame” the new Honda RC213V. As usual, every year now, following the working-protocol, HRC Management requests to “Honda Teams” to attend an articulate training course concerning (named schooling) the assemble, the set-up and the maintenance of the RCV bikes involved in the MotoGP Championship. Therefore Honda, during the winter break, have recently hosted for a 10-day stay the technical members of their “own” MotoGP Teams (Honda HRC, Honda Gresini, Honda LCR) at the very confidential R&D center (Research and Development) located in the Saitama Prefecture (around 30 minutes from Tokyo city centre) updating the crew members about the new technical features of the RCV bikes that will be back on track at the end of this month for the first winter test in Malaysia. Landed in Japan few days after the beginning of the new-year, the LCR Team staff took part to the several meeting fixed by the project leaders, checking every single component, studying the assembly schemes, checking the maintenance procedures to fine tune the RC213V prototypes ready for Sepang. Now we just have to wait till the first test session in Malaysia (31st of January, 1st and 2nd of February) to follow the deeds of Lucio Cecchinello’s Team and his new favourite reigning Moto2 World Champion!
