SUPERBIKER MAT MLADIN STARTS A SUPERFIT SCHOOL The most dominant rider in the modern era of AMA Superbike racing Mat Mladin has teamed up with renowned exercise physiologist and coach Simon Sostaric to form a new coaching and training company. The new company called “Mat Mladin & Simon Sostaric’s Insider Training” is designed to bring new standards to the physical and mental preparation of motorsport competitors. After firmly establishing himself at the top of the AMA Superbike all-time winners list with a sixth title in 2005, Mat finished second in 2006 missing the title by only a few points. “Fifteen years is a long time for any sportsman to remain at the higher echelons of their chosen sport and it has made me realise that without failure there can be no success” Mat Mladin said. “Over the past few years we have extensively explored the physical demands of motorcycle racing and subsequently, discovered some intriguing results. We have learned a lot about the best possible racing preparation.” “Now with Simon¹s knowledge and my experience I want to help our sport get to the next level regarding fitness, nutrition and different training techniques.” Simon Sostaric is a previous four minute miler and publisher of world class research. He has worked with some of the biggest football teams and athletes on different continents including Olympic cyclists and runners, European based Pro-Tour cyclists, and amongst other things, time in Kenya studying the performance of marathon runners. “Motorcycle racing and motor sports in general is far behind other professional sports in the area of physical and psychological preparation. Some professional riders are being paid millions of dollars but are not made to prove their worth. There is much more to being a professional motorcycle racer than simply going fast these days”. “INSIDER TRAINING will help riders looking for that extra 10% or tenths of a second that ultimately makes the difference between winning and losing” Mat Mladin said. Mat Mladin & Simon Sostaric¹s INSIDER TRAINING will be based in the United States but training athletes can happen anywhere in the world. Interested riders can contact Mat Mladin or Simon Sostaric directly or through their website. Simon Sostaric adds “We will give athletes every opportunity to learn in theory and in practice. The athlete can have one-on-one contact, providing very specific feedback to their needs”. “Training camps will be strategically planned, re timing and location, to best suit the needs of the racer. This includes international destinations in the off-season. We believe the combined knowledge and skill of Mat & myself is second to none. We have the “tools” and expertise to help anyone who wants to get the most out of themselves, in a smart and sustainable way” Simon said. FOR MORE INFORMATION PLEASE CONTACT: [email protected]
