Wisconsin based Learning Curves Racing, Inc. will celebrate its 20th year of service to road racers and motorcycle enthusiasts on September 27th at the track where it all began, Blackhawk Farms Raceway. Founder and head instructor Rick Breuer was enthusiastic about the 20-year mark. “This 20th anniversary makes us one of the oldest racing schools in the country, no small feat considering the number of schools that have started up and failed over the years. It is a very demanding and at the same time, very rewarding experience with some real milestones along the way.” Over the years the school has visited some 16 tracks around the country with the program quickly growing from part of the weekend event to full track days with advanced classes and special event track clinics. LCR has been reviewed in countless industry publications and on radio and television reports as well as public appearances at shops, National events, and trade shows. While fully qualified to teach advanced racing skills, Learning Curves strength lies in the new riders or beginners school where over 3,000 riders having successfully graduated. “While we are the Official Race licensing school for the CCS, our strength lies with the Beginner School which has earned Wisconsin state DOT certification, WI DOT Waiver program certification, is Motorcycle Safety Foundation approved and awards successful students a MSF rider education certification.” The beginner school has become a highly visible Milwaukee landmark, attended by motorcycle enthusiasts, journalists, and radio personalities. On this the 20th anniversary, over 5,000 riders have successfully completed the beginning and advanced classes. Some riders go on to become top rated National road racers while others utilize the program to sharpen their street riding skills and, just have fun.
