We talked about Road Atlanta and he was excited about the opportunity. I really appreciate his initiative and support,” said Pegram. “Larry has always been a fan favorite. He and his team are doing an outstanding job this year and I am glad that we are in position to support them. I built my business by focusing on the motorcycle market – it feels great to back a racer that is such a strong representative of the industry,” commented Harrington. The team will be running the A.C.E. logo on the bike throughout the weekend and Larry Pegram will also be signing autographs at the A.C.E. booth on Saturday and Sunday, September 1 and 2, 2007. More, from a press release issued by Build Momentum: Larry Pegram Takes Ownership Stake in Build-Momentum Pegram will Advise Select Group of Athletes While Running Team and Racing Hebron, OH, August 31, 2007 – Larry Pegram, of the LeoVince Pegram Racing Ducati Team, announced today that he is now part owner of Build-Momentum, a motorsports marketing company. This new business relationship comes as a result of the progress both Larry Pegram and Ed Kuhlenkamp have been able to achieve working together to market the LeoVince Pegram Racing Ducati team. It is also part of Pegram’s plan to partner with companies involved with motorcycle racing and motorsports. “Ed and I have accomplished a great deal working together already. I see how an agency like Build-Momentum can have a positive impact on the future of motorcycle racing and I want to be a part of that. I have always enjoyed the business side of the racing industry and now I plan to use my skills to help other riders. I was also attracted to this business because it allows me to continue racing and running my team, which is something I love to do,” said Pegram. “I see tremendous potential for an agency that understands the motorcycle industry and the corporate market. Larry Pegram’s reputation in the motorcycle industry is excellent. He is an extremely skilled racer, who knows how to produce results on the track and manage all the business aspects of his team professionally. I look forward to growing Build-Momentum together,” commented Kuhlenkamp. “The youth are clearly picking motorcycle racing as their motorsport of choice which means marketers are going to be increasing their sponsorship and advertising spending on motorcycle racing. In addition, the increased attention to MotoGP and World Superbike in the U.S. is going to have a positive impact on all forms of AMA motorcycle racing. Build-Momentum is perfectly positioned to benefit from all these positive trends,” added Kuhlenkamp.
