Leo Vince To Sponsor Pegram Racing Honda Team In 2006 AMA Superbike Championship

Pegram Racing Honda is happy to announce it has signed Leo Vince Exhaust as its title sponsor for the 2006 AMA Superbike season. Leo Vince maker of premium performance and racing motorcycle exhausts will be the title sponsor of the Leo Vince/Pegram Racing Honda. The team will continue its great relationship with American Honda, Michelin Tires, Pro Honda Oils, and Triangle Cycles.com. All the major sponsors will upgrade their support for the coming season. The team includes veteran racer and team owner, Larry Pegram plus, young up and coming Ryan Elleby. Pegram will concentrate on AMA Superbike aboard a HRC kitted 2006 Honda CBR1000RR and will race selected Superstock events on a 2006 Honda CBR100RR. Elleby will compete in 600 Supersport and Formula Xtreme on the Honda CBR600RR. “I am very happy with the improvement of our program for 2006.” Said Pegram. “The addition of Leo Vince as our new title sponsor, plus, the added support from Honda and Michelin will really up our game. I also think Ryan, a newly discovered talent will surprise a lot of people this year.” Ryan added, “I am very excited to have this opportunity to prove myself. Leo Vince/Pegram Racing Honda is a great program, with Larry as my coach and the Honda/Michelin/Leo Vince package we will be very competitive.” The new Honda’s will feature a retro paint job based on the 1985 Honda Factory Team. Pegram’s association with Freddie Spencer and his school will come full circle as the Bikes, Truck, and Team Uniforms will honor Freddie’s success of the past. Mechanics include, Dave Weaver, JD Zachary, Dave Alexander, Dennis Zickrick, and Larry’s father Jim Pegram.
