RICHMOND, CA – July 22, 2010 – (Motor Sports Newswire) – On Saturday July 24 at 4:30 p.m. LeoVince USA will host an autograph signing by Monster Yamaha Tech3 Team riders Ben Spies and Colin Edwards at their booth located near turn three in the Yamaha Marketplace. Immediately following the autograph session, LeoVince will unveil its 56th Anniversary Tribute Bike, the LeoVince Seducenta. The Seducenta is a design collaboration between Tim Calhoun, Executive Vice President of LeoVince USA and Will Kenefick, designer and owner of Retro SBK. Tim Calhoun, states; “When Will and I first discussed this bike, we decided it needed to represent a company built in 1954, and subsequently 56 years of business, and history in this industry. We started tossing out what these numbers meant to us, and immediately hot rods, and the heyday of post WWII automotive and motorcycle designs came to mind. Motorcyclists from this period witnessed the tail end of Indian, the emerging dominance of Harley Davidson and the incredible café racer movement in the UK. We wanted to build a bike that would blend hot rod minded performance with the café aesthetic. The bike had to represent the seductive hand crafted beauty of our own product and the motorcycles of our collective past”. Calhoun continues; “The LeoVince Seducenta reflects the craftsmanship, beauty, and performance that the LeoVince Family of exhausts have been shaped by for the last fifty-six years. Will’s vision to rid the bike of plastics and hand form the new shape from metal is an absolute reflection of the passion and processes our company was founded with 56 years ago”. Will Kenefick adds; “The bike was designed, created, and styled to evoke the spirit of café-racers, with the performance of a modern 150HP superbike. I’ve taken cutting edge technology and blended it with retro style, and a flair for metal. The LeoVince Seducenta is an expression of moto-sculpture. With great working partners who also craft exceptional products like CRG, OZ Wheels, Moto Wheels, and Attack Performance we had a great foundation of parts to work with. Throw in the passion and soul that myself and my team built into this bike, and I think you have the most unique and beautiful motorcycle I have built yet”.
