Richmond, Calif. – March 13, 2014 – The 2014 AMA Pro Road Racing season is set to start at Daytona International Speedway this weekend, March 13-15, and LeoVince USA racers will be well represented on the SuperBike, SuperSport and Daytona SportBike grids.

LeoVince USA Specialized Products Distribution has always been a proud supporter of road racing, and the 2014 season will again include many professional and amateur racers utilizing LeoVince exhausts, LeoVince Carbon Fiber, the Dion Device brake lever protector, Vortex components and other brands available through LeoVince USA.

In the SuperBike class, Monster Energy/Graves Yamaha will once again equip their Yamaha YZF-R1 machines with the Dion Device brake lever protector. Josh Hayes returns to the team, and his teammate will be 2013 Daytona SportBike champion Cameron Beaubier.

Larry Pegram and Cory West will also take advantage of the Dion Device in the SuperBike class. For 2014, both racers have partnered with Erik Buell Racing to campaign the EBR 1190.

RoadRace Factory and LeoVince USA have teamed up again, and they have a solid Daytona SportBike lineup with Jake Gagne and Tomas Puerta. Gagne was one of the top contenders in Daytona SportBike last year, finishing second in points. This year, Gagne is hoping to win the championship on his LeoVince- and Dion Device-equipped Yamaha YZF-R6.

Puerta will make his Daytona SportBike debut, also riding a RoadRace Factory Yamaha R6. Puerta dominated the SuperSport class en route to his 2013 championships, and the team has high expectations for the next step in his roadracing career. RoadRace Factory will also field Cameron Gish and Felipe MacLean in SuperSport.

DMS Racing will field three riders in 2014, including Stefano Mesa in SuperBike and Sebastiao Ferreira in SuperSport. Mesa finished third in SuperSport East last year, and this year he moves to the premier class on board a Kawasaki ZX-10R with a LeoVince exhaust and Carbon Fiber. Ferreira raced SuperSport West in 2013, also taking third in points. In addition, DMS will field 19-year-old Brazilian Sabrina Paiuta in the SuperSport race at Daytona. She raced the European Junior Cup in 2013, earning a best finish of sixth at Magny Cours in France.

Garrett Willis will compete in Daytona SportBike this year. The privateer’s racing history includes SuperSport podiums, and he returns with a LeoVince exhaust, Carbon Fiber, a Dion Device and Vortex components on his entry.

In addition to AMA Pro Road Racing teams, LeoVince USA is sponsoring international competitors, including Erik Buell Racing in World Superbike. Longtime EBR riders Aaron Yates and Geoff May will be using the Dion Device on board their EBR 1190RS bikes. Jayson Uribe will represent LeoVince USA and the Dion Device in Moto3 and British Superbike.
