LeoVince Renews Sponsorship of RoadRace Factory/Red Bull in AMA Pro Road Racing Richmond, Calif. – LeoVince USA is returning in 2013 as a sponsor of the RoadRace Factory/Red Bull team. After a successful 2012 with the AMA Pro Road Racing team, LeoVince is proud to continue its support. The RoadRace Factory Yamaha YZF-R6 entries will benefit from the additional horsepower and lighter weight of the LeoVince Factory “R” Corsa titanium exhaust system. In addition, each bike will utilize LeoVince’s carbon fiber case guards and the new Dion Device brake lever guard. “We started working with Danny Walker through American Supercamp over seven years ago. That relationship then extended to the RoadRace Factory when it was created,” says Tim Calhoun, Executive Vice President of LeoVince USA. “I like what they stand for, the riders are an incredibly talented group and the team brings a refreshing approach of teaching both track skills and professional etiquette to these young men. We look forward to continuing our relationship with them and to helping them win a championship in 2013.” For 2013, RoadRace Factory/Red Bull will field riders Tomas Puerta, JD Beach and Jake Gagne. The team ran their first full season in 2012, quickly rising to be a top competitor in Daytona SportBike and SuperSport. Beach finished the 2012 season with sixth in the Daytona SportBike championship, earning top finishes of third at Road America and NOLA Motorsports Park along the way. Gagne took the Daytona SportBike win at Homestead, finishing the season 11th in the points standings. For the second year in a row, Puerta closed the season with third in the SuperSport East championship. “Team owner Danny Walker runs a top-notch program. It’s evident in his RoadRace Factory schools and American Supercamps. Last year they ran a first-class program and the team is an excellent ambassador for LeoVince to showcase our product,” says David Christensen, U.S. Race Manager for LeoVince. The RoadRace Factory/Red Bull riders will take their first green flag of the season during round one at Daytona International Speedway from March 14-16.
