The Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix featuring the prestigious MotoGP World Championship will offer new opportunities to race fans attending the event as they will be able to walk the MotoGP paddock, join a Pit Walk, experience the celebratory spraying of the champagne at the podium ceremony and, a first for MotoGP anywhere, to watch practice and qualifying literally on the front straight in the “Rev Limiter Zone.” To participate in any of these opportunities, fans must have a race ticket and more importantly, a paddock pass. The “Rev Limiter Zone” is available as an up-grade to the paddock pass. The fans with Flagroom hospitality will be treated to a special visit from the Red Bull MotoGP riders Chris Vermeulen, Andrea Dovizioso and Dani Pedrosa on Saturday afternoon after the MotoGP qualifying. (June 18, 2009) The fifth annual Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix is at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca July 3-5. To celebrate the fourth of July fans will enjoy Tech 3 Yamaha’s Factory rider James Toseland and his rock band Crash performing on the main stage on Saturday evening, July 4th following the scheduled afternoon MotoGP qualifying session. In addition to Crash performing on the main stage, located conveniently in the Yamaha Marketplace, there will be continuous live performances from bands featured on San Francisco radio station Live 105 throughout the event weekend. “We’re totally excited to be partnering with Mazda Raceway on this great event. With the motorcycles and the bands James Toseland, Music for Animals, everyone else this is a great way to celebrate the 4th of July,” said Sharon Ann Walsh of Live 105.
