Lippis Won WMRRA Championship Last Weekend

Danny Lippis won the 2006 WMRRA Overall Championship with consistent finishes at the final event of the year, October 7-8 at Pacific Raceways in Kent, Washington. Lippis had a 40 point lead ahead of Alan Schwen going into the weekend and needed to finish top 3 or better in his 4 races to secure his first Overall Championship. Lippis was aboard his Dunlop shod EDR Performance/Eastside MotoSports GSXR750 and GSXR1000. He finished 2nd in 750 Supersport, 750 Superbike, Open Supersport and Formula Ultra to earn his first overall title!
