After the great 2010 season by Berto Lopez in Team Motorrad Competición and great adaptation to the BMW S1000RR, the Madrid team and the Spaniard renewed his contract for the Stock Extreme category in the Spanish Championship. Berto will continue to progress but with the clear objective of achieving podium this season. In 2010 he got into the front row of the starting grid in many races and kept in the top ten in the category every race. Despite the injury suffered in a race, the Spaniard continued to work on each test and managed to finish in 9 th position overall, even without points in 2 races by fall and two sixth places in the proof of Albacete and Jerez. Its clear adaptation to bike, team and Michelin tires, will make the Spaniard a serious candidate fo r the podium positions at every race of the ESC 2011. Certainly a good bet by Motorrad Madrid team, who will have the best riders to defend the titles won with the S1000RR: champion of Spain for brands and riders. Alberto Lopez and Javier del Amor will struggle to revalidate the titles won last 2010 season by Motorrad. Alberto Lopez: “I am very happy to continue next season with Motorrad, I feel very comfortable with the bike, tires and team. I have learned and improved a lot last year, so this season we will want more, and we will get the objective of the podium in every race. I want to thank the whole team and my sponsors for their support once again ” All the results and information relating to the Championship can be found on the official Team website by visiting www.motorradcompeticion.com and www.cevbuckler.com
