This just in from NHIS and LRRS official Jerry Wood: Novice rider Steven Almeida, 37, of Seekonk, Massachusetts was fatally injured in a starting grid incident during an LRRS race at New Hampshire International Speedway in Loudon, New Hampshire on Saturday. Almeida was gridded on the front row and had some difficulty, resulting in a slow start that had him drifting to the left. He was hit by several other riders from the fifth and seventh rows. Services will be announced on the LRRS website as soon as they become available.
