DENVER, Colo. – Colter Dimick competes in AMA Pro Motorcycle-Superstore.com SuperSport aboard the No. 606 Gearzy/ A.C.E.S./ Tri-City Cycle/ M1 PowerSports Yamaha YZF-R6. Read on to find out 20 things you didn’t know about the up-and-coming rider: Q: Where are you from? A: I was born and still live in Fort Collins, Colo. Q: Do you have any siblings other than Dalton? A: No other siblings, growing up withDaltonwas plenty for me. Q: Where’d you go to high school? A: I graduated from Fort Collins High School. Forever proud to be a Lambkin. Q: What was your favorite subject in school? A: Physical Education was always my favorite. Q: How did you get into motorsports? A: My Dad got me on a PW50 when I was 6. Q: Who is faster, you or your brother? A: He always had the edge on me growing up, but I’d say it’s close now in both motocross and road racing. He’d still have me covered in supermoto though. Q: What are your favorite hobbies, outside of racing? A: I’m a diehard Broncos fan, so you can find me at my Dad’s every Sunday watching the game. Q: Do you actively compete in any other sports (or did you before you began racing)? A: Growing up I played everything (football, baseball, basketball and wrestled) but after junior high I stuck with baseball and racing. Q: What is your favorite place in the world and why? A: Favorite place in the world has got to be the race track. On a good weekend where everything is going well there’s no better feeling in the world. Q: What is your favorite racetrack and what do you like about the track? A: Laguna Seca. The track alone is unlike anything I’ve raced on and on top of that being able to race in front of the MotoGP riders was something I’ll never forget. Q: What was your first bike (street or racing)? A: My first dirtbike was a PW50 and an R6 was the first streetbike I rode. Q: What was your first car? A: My first car was a 2004 Chevy Silverado. Q: If you could have any vehicle (car, bike, boat, plane, spaceship), what would it be and why? A: Without a doubt I’d have the shagonwagon from the Movie Dumb and Dumber. “It’s the shagonwagon, chicks love it!” Q: Who was your racing hero growing up? A: Andrew Short was my idol growing up. He’d hit some of the local Colorado races between his AMA stuff and I remember being so stoked that I had the same neon green and orange AXO gear as Shorty. Q: What’s one of the craziest things that you’ve ever done? A: When I was 14 I stole Dalton’s jeep from the house and took a cruise around town. Safe to say my Mom wasn’t nearly as pumped as I was. Q: Is there anything that you’re afraid of? A: I’m sure you hear it a lot but spiders get to me. Dalton had to get a bunch of spider bites cut open and drained when we were little and since then I haven’t been too fond of the little eight-legged freaks. Q: What’s your favorite style of music? A: I love all kinds of music, just depends on my mood. Q: Who is your favorite musical artist? A: I’d say it’s a tossup between Carrie Underwood and Atmosphere. Q: What do you consider to be the highlight of your racing career? A: Getting 9th place in my first AMA Pro Road Racing start at Laguna is something that I’m very proud of. Q: What are you looking forward to most in your life right now? A: Just seeing what’s next for me. I know these next couple years are going to be pivotal years in my life and I’m excited to see how it starts to unfold. Q: If I were to give you a million dollars and told you that you had to spend it all in one month, what would you spend most of the money on? A: I’m pretty confident I’d spend it all on a month long vacation with my friends. We would hit as many different Cities/Countries as possible and I’d pay a professional to document it all!
