M1 PowerSports Unveils New Surfboard Trophies for Triumph Big Kahuna Nationals Motorcycle-Superstore.com and Roland Sands bring back the surfboards for Miami and New Orleans DENVER, Colo. – Thanks to a collaboration by partners Motorcycle-Superstore.com and Roland Sands, M1 PowerSports is excited to unveil the unique surfboard trophies which will be awarded to the top GEICO Motorcycle AMA Pro Road Racing riders following each of this year’s remaining Triumph Big Kahuna Nationals presented by Dunlop Tire and LeoVince. With two events still remaining, each will crown a “Big Kahuna” in every road racing class, and each Big Kahuna will be presented with a Motorcycle-Superstore.com sponsored full-sized trophy surfboard, designed by Roland Sands in conjunction with Motorcycle-Superstore.com and made by Hurley Surfboards. The final two races of this year’s Triumph Big Kahuna Nationals will take place at Homestead-Miami Speedway on September 21st-23rd, and in New Orleans at NOLA Motorsports Park on October 5th-7th. “There’s nothing I enjoy more than awarding the top riders with their very own Big Kahuna surfboard,” said Cameron Gray, CEO of M1 PowerSports. “With Motorcycle-Superstore.com stepping in, as well as the partnership with Roland Sands Designs and Hurley Surfboards, I don’t think you could ask for three better companies to partner with M1 PowerSports on this year’s trophies. I think it’s going to be a great thing, especially now that we can offer a surfboard trophy to each class, it gives everybody something to shoot for and gives the event that classic Big Kahuna touch.” Tickets for the two remaining rounds of the 2012 Triumph Big Kahuna Triple Crown begin at just $20 and the events will mark the final rounds of the 2012 GEICO Motorcycle AMA Pro Road Racing season.
