M4 ECSTAR Suzuki Names Supersport & Stock 1000 Riders

Suzuki Announces M4 ECSTAR Suzuki’s Supersport & Stock 1000 Riders for 2021

M4 ECSTAR Suzuki will field Sean Dylan Kelly and Sam Lochoff in the 2021
MotoAmerica Supersport Series, Wyatt Farris to compete in Stock 1000.

Brea, CA (March 23, 2021) – Suzuki Motor of America, Inc. announces the return of Team Hammer as its official road racing partner for the 2021 MotoAmerica AMA/FIM North American Road Racing Series. Team Hammer will field Supersport class riders using Suzuki GSX-R600s for 2021. The team returns to the 2021 MotoAmerica series as Team M4 ECSTAR Suzuki.

Riding for M4 ECSTAR Suzuki Supersport athletes include Sean Dylan Kelly and South Africa’s Sam Lochoff; who joins the team’s 600 class effort for 2021. Wyatt Farris joins M4 ECSTAR Suzuki competing in the Stock 1000 class on a GSX-R1000.

Florida’s Sean Dylan Kelly returns to Team Hammer for a third year in 2021.  SDK finished second in the 2020 Supersport Championship, having scored consistent podium finishes along with five Supersport class victories in 2020. Kelly enters 2021 with an abundance of momentum gained from a dominating pole position performance and strong second place finish in the 79th running of the legendary Daytona 200 recently at Daytona International Speedway.

Newcomer Sam Lochoff turned heads by landing on the podium in his MotoAmerica debut in 2019, finishing third in the Junior Cup season-opener. Following an abbreviated rookie season in 2019, Lochoff made his presence felt in 2020, earning 13 podium finishes — including five runner-up finishes, en route to an overall third place ranking in the 2020 MotoAmerica Junior Cup Championship.

Also new to M4 ECSTAR Suzuki is Wyatt Farris, joining as the team’s Stock 1000 rider for 2021.  Farris, from Calistoga, CA, is an experienced AMA Pro/MotoAmerica competitor, earning nine AMA Pro/MotoAmerica podium finishes, and taking third in the 2014 AMA Pro Supersport Championship. He finished a strong third in the 2016 Daytona 200. In 2017 he won the overall AFM Championship, was second in 2019, and topped the AFM overall points again in 2020.

In 2021, Team Hammer embarks on its 41st consecutive year of operating as an elite professional road racing team. In addition to an impressive list of accomplishments in various national and international motorcycle road racing championships, Team Hammer’s success at the AMA Pro and MotoAmerica National level is exceptional.

Team Hammer has earned an accumulated nine AMA Pro and MotoAmerica National titles while racking up 108 race victories and 291 podium finishes in multiple MotoAmerica Championship classes, AMA Formula Xtreme, AMA 750cc Supersport, and AMA Pro Daytona Sportbike series championships as well.

Along with an exceptional record of preparing, developing, and fielding championship-caliber equipment, Team Hammer is known for its consistent ability to identify and foster road racing athletes, whether they be up-and-coming riders, overlooked international competitors, or established veterans looking to reignite their careers with Team Hammer.

M4 ECSTAR Suzuki will debut its full team lineup on March 30-31 at the 2021 MotoAmerica Official Test at Circuit of the Americas in Austin, TX.
