Macau, September 7, 2007 – The Macau Grand Prix Committee today launched a brand new interactive official website for the Macau Grand Prix at ~http://www.macau.grandprix.gov.mo~ . Updated daily, the website provides motorsport fans with access to comprehensive information as well as the latest news from the Grand Prix. Specially designed for visitors of all ages, the new website is both informative and entertaining, and the exciting contents include a photo gallery, the latest news as well as links to a range of international motorsport events and Macau-related websites. First held in 1954, the Macau Grand Prix has a long and distinguished history, and the website contains information on previous events, historic and modern era images, and a full list of winners over the last fifty years. Visitors may access previous races online through archive film footage, while background information such as a Guia Circuit map, how the circuit corners got their names, and circuit flag signals may also be accessed on the site. During the 54th Macau Grand Prix, to be held from November 15-18, results, race reports and images will be posted throughout the event. Four versions of the site are available in Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Portuguese and English in order to reach as wide an audience as possible. Visitors may book Grand Prix tickets, obtain hotel and tourism information, and access details of other activities planned during the event.
