Many Former World Champions To Appear At Louis Classic Kings Event June 16-18 At Sachsenring

In celebration of its 90th anniversary, Germany’s Sachsenring and ADAC are hosting a new event, the Louis Classic Kings, which will feature appearances by several former World Champions, according to event organizer and former racer Steve McLaughlin.

Giacomo Agostini , Steve Baker, Dieter Braun, Johnny Cecotto, Max Deubel, Jon Ekerold, Carl Fogarty, Carlos Lavado, Marco Lucchinelli, Phil Read, Christian Sarron, Kevin Schwantz, Freddie Spencer, Ralf Waldmann and more former Champions are expected to attend the event, which is scheduled to be broadcast on live on Germany’s MDR TV network.

Agostini will celebrate his 75th birthday at the track on June 16.

According to McLaughlin, the event is designed for maximum fan interaction with autograph sessions, a motorcycle parade through the local town, a VIP Paddock club that includes grid passes, laser shows, live music and much more.
