Chris Ulrich and the Roadracing World Action Fund are holding the Annual Thanksgiving Weekend Two-Up Fundraiser during Fastrack Riders track day events November 24 and 25, 2012 (Saturday and Sunday) at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California. Two-up rides are available to the public with a minimum donation of $50 to the Roadracing World Action Fund, a not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization which advocates and promotes the use of soft barriers to help prevent rider injuries at racetracks nationwide. Two-up rides on the back of a modified, two-seat AMA Pro National Guard Superbike piloted by Ulrich for two laps around Auto Club Speedway, are a popular way for non-racers and club racers alike to experience the thrill of riding at top speeds on a racebike. Ulrich set a new record in 2009 when he gave 57 two-up rides and completed 180 laps–more than 400 miles–over two days. Ulrich will be giving two-up rides on his GEICO Suzuki GSX-R1000 Superbike from approximately 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day. Sign-up at the track on the days of the event. The Roadracing World Action Fund has raised over $700,000 and has deployed soft barriers at road courses and dirt tracks throughout the United States. Hundreds of riders have been “saved” by hitting the soft barriers instead of hard walls after crashing. ~https://www.roadracingworld.com/news/article/?article=38828~ ~http://www.amaproracing.com/rr/news/index.cfm?cid=24414~ ~http://actionfund.roadracingworld.com/~ ~http://www.fastrackriders.com~
