More, from a press release issued by Interwetten Honda: INTERWETTEN Honda 125 TEAM – Schrötter missed 4th row on the grid by 0.3 seconds Marcel Schrötter finished the qualifying for the U.S. Grand Prix in Indianapolis with the 17th starting position for tomorrow’s race and will start from 5th row on the grid. Schrötter missed the 4th row by just 0,3 seconds, but is not completely unsatisfied with this result as earlier on, with the given conditions on the track today, he thought his position would be much worse than it went at the end. Marcel Schrötter, 17 – 1’50.992: “The qualifying was not easy. It was so warm today and the asphalt got really hot and I was sliding around a lot, especially with the rear. I could hang on other riders a couple of laps, when I followed Iwema he made some mistakes and I had to ride alone again. Then I was with Smith and he suddenly was braking, which ruined my flying lap as I had to brake as well, because I was behind him. I am sure otherwise I could have been faster and could make it to fourth row.” Terrell Thien, Team Manager: “Unfortunately we could not continue the form of yesterday. Some positions more in front would have been possible for Marcel, but his flying lap got ruined and he had to brake, which made him lose time. The target for tomorrow are championship points as always and if Marcel can follow and stick with one of the faster riders we may can get some positions out of that.”
