Mat Mladin Motorsports Racing Team to take a break in 2007 Mat Mladin Motorsports is sad to announce that they will not be competing in the 2007 AMA road racing season. After two successful years competing in Superbike and Superstock with Marty Craggill as the rider, lack of support for the 2007 season forces the team to take a hiatus. “We’ve had a good two years,” says team manager and crew chief Rodney Rayborne. “Marty is a pleasure to work with, and is one of the most consistent riders in the AMA series.” “Marty won Superbike Privateer in 2005 and is currenty placed 9th overall in Superstock, with only 9 points covering the next two places in the class, a good showing could move him up a place or two,” Rodney points out. “That would be a great way to end out the efforts of the team. It’s rumored the team might return in 2008. “Mat is a very professional businessman,” stated Rayborne. “I know he enjoyed having a team and when and if the time is right I could see him doing it again. I was looking forward to working with Mat and Marty for a few more years.”
