(Canton, GA) – It has been a slow, or should we say non-existent, start for Matt Lynn’s 2010 racing season; the former AMA regular has been in a holding pattern, waiting for team racing plans to formulate. Now, nearly half-way through the season, it has become clear that it is time seek other opportunities. After a successful, self-funded 2009 season, Lynn fully intended to return to the AMA paddock and the American Superbike class. Early 2010 discussions with one specific team left Lynn excited and motivated for 2010; however it seems the team has been taken in a different direction. “It is unfortunate that things haven’t come together yet, but I have to do what is best for me and my racing career and at this point, it is finding a good team to work with”, says Matt. Not to be discouraged, Lynn has been mentoring young-gun and fellow Georgian, Jake Morman; while exploring other opportunities in the AMA paddock. Lynn is looking to work with a professional, motivated, and established team; which will allow him to ride to his ability. “2009 was an educational year for me; being the driver, the mechanic, the financial support, and the rider really puts things in perspective”, says Lynn, “I am looking forward to working in a team environment again.” Lynn has competitive experience on several different Brands of motorcycles, everything from the MV Augusta F4 312R superbike to the not yet AMA homologated Buell 1190RR, and he is available for bike testing and development. Matt Lynn Racing efforts are supported by Arai, Speed & Strength, Knox, Sidi boots and Sportbike Track Gear. For more information, please contact: [email protected] or [email protected]
