Jordan Suzuki’s Geoff May was the fastest rider during AMA Superstock practice Thursday morning at Miller Motorsports Park, in Tooele, Utah. May lapped the 4.5-mile course in 2:50.226 in spite of light rain falling at points during the session, cold temperatures and a brisk wind. May said he went exactly the same speed he went in warmer conditions on Wednesday, but third-fastest Jake Holden (2:50.775) said he went about one second faster on Wednesday.
