McGrath Also Leaving American Honda Road Race Team

As of 10/23/08 I will be leaving the American Honda motorcycle road race team. I have been contracted with Honda since 2001 and have enjoyed working with many gifted people and true friends. I want to take this opportunity to thank American Honda for providing me an outstanding opportunity and livelihood. In addition, I must acknowledge their above and beyond sensitivity and flexibility these past years regarding myself and my family. In particular; Ray Plumb, Chuck Miller, and Ron Heben have looked after our well being and are genuine friends. I owe them a great deal of gratitude. Honda management has been very gracious in releasing me from my 2009 obligations so I can relocate my family outside California.
