Elena Myers crashed her Castrol/Apex Manufacturing Triumph Daytona 675R during provisional AMA Pro GoPro Daytona SportBike qualifying Friday at Barber Motorsports Park, and the 19-year-old California native may have suffered a broken collarbone. Responding to text messages from Roadracingworld.com checking on her condition, Myers reported that medical personnel at the racetrack’s medical facility said her collarbone was broken, but she added that the X-rays were blurry and she was going to get a second opinion Saturday. More information will be posted as it becomes available.
