Chaz Davies, the former 125cc and 250cc Grand Prix star who caused quite a stir when he finished fifth in his AMA Supersport debut at Mid-Ohio in October, is scheduled to appear all three days of the New York motorcycle show in Celtic Racing’s booth. Davies ran the whole Mid-Ohio Supersport race in the company of Champion Jamie Hacking, their duel remembered by thousands of television viewers. Davies will ride for New York-based Celtic Racing on Yamaha machinery in next season’s AMA Supersport and Formula Xtreme Championships. Chaz Davies, Wales – UK, will pilot Yamaha’s venerable R6 for Celtic Racing in the AMA Supersport and Formula Xtreme Championships this year. The racing engines will be crafted by Celtic Performance engine tuner Mark Rozema, and the suspension by California tuning expert Dave Moss of Catalyst Reaction Suspension Tuning.
