This on-board video was shot during the 91st running of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. Rider Michael Leon raced the Amarok P1, Canada’s first Electric Superbike in his rookie attempt on the mountain. The motorcycle was virtually untested before arriving in Colorado. The team had a very challenging week including very limited practice due to charging and brake issues. They only managed one practice run of the middle section of the course. Going into the race, there was uncertainty about whether the capacity of the battery system was going to be large enough to make it to the summit. Did he make it to the top?
