2015 Schedule of Events Announced

Deep-discount season and individual-event tickets on sale until December 31

TOOELE VALLEY, UTAH (November 24, 2014) — Miller Motorsports Park is pleased to announce its schedule of events for the 2015 season, offering one of the most diverse selections of motorsports excitement in North America.

“Our ninth season of racing at Miller Motorsports Park is going to be outstanding,” said John Larson, General Manager of Miller Performance. “We offer a wide variety of exciting racing events that will appeal to every racing fan. From off-road trucks to motocross and road-racing motorcycles, sports cars and karting, we’ll have something for everyone. We’re coming off a very successful 2014 season and look forward to carrying that momentum into the new year.”

Deeply discounted season tickets and individual event tickets are on sale now, with the biggest discounts in the track’s history available until Dec. 31.

As has been the case in recent years, the first major event of the new season will take place on Jun. 20-21 with the sixth annual visit from the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series. The top stars of off-road racing, including Jeremy McGrath, Brian Deegan, Rob MacCachren, Ricky Johnson, Carl Renezeder and Rodrigo Ampudia, will return for two days of intense, door-banging, take-no-prisoners racing on MMP’s Off Road Short Course.

The 200-mph, two-wheeled missiles of WERA Motorcycle Roadracing will join our local Utah Sport Bike Association (UtahSBA) for Superbike Fest over the weekend of Jul. 25-26 for two days of asphalt-scorching action on our road racing track. WERA, one of the largest motorcycle racing organizations in America, is making its ninth annual visit to Miller Motorsports Park, and the two series will attract more than 200 of the country’s top riders.

Motocross fans across the Intermountain West will get their annual fix of high-flying action with the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship’s third annual Utah National on Aug. 15. The world’s best motocross racers, including KenRoczen, Ryan Dungey, James Stewart, Eli Tomac and Chad Reed, will be back to battle for championship points and bragging rights on MMP’s unique motocross course situated in the infield of the road racing track, offering up-close-and-personal viewing of the most exciting form of motorsport.

The final major event of the season will take place on Aug. 22-23 as the Pirelli World Challenge Championships return for the Supercar Grand Prix of Utah. This was the surprise hit of the 2014 season, with a stunning array of Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Bentleys, Audis, Porsches and other sporting exotics ripping around the road course, and the series promises a bigger and better show in 2015.

Other events scheduled during the season include the free-to-the-public Season Opener (May 16); a new motocross event, a Super Area Qualifier for the Rocky Mountain ATV/MC AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship (May 23-24); the second annual Octane Party car show (Jul. 26); the Beehive Drive charity event (Jul. 27); the second annual Amateur Motocross Showdown (Aug. 14); the Ultra4 American Rock Sports Challenge (Aug. 29); the 10th annual AHRMA Bonneville Vintage Grand Prix Motorcycle Festival for vintage motorcycles (Sept. 5-6), the track’s longest-running annual event; CruiserFest, a celebration of Toyota Land Cruisers (Sept. 12-13); the Porsche Club of America (Sept. 19-20); and the second appearance of the whimsical 24 Hours of LeMons (Oct. 3-4).

As always, Miller Motorsports Park also offers a full slate of events for our four amateur championships. The Utah Region of the National Auto Sport Association (NASA) sports cars will contest a seven-round championship, while the UtahSBA’s VORTEX Masters of the Mountains motorcycle racing series will have a six-race title chase. The Utah Kart Championship will have an 11-round championship in 2015 plus two “Ice Breaker” events, and the fourth season of the rapidly-growing Lucas Oil Off Road Regional Series – Utah will have a five-race schedule of events.

Individual event tickets and season passes are now on sale, with the deepest discounts ever offered available between now and December 31. Season tickets are priced at $99 and offer access to every MMP-sanctioned racing event during the year as well as free parking for all events, a Pit Pass for the Utah National and covered-grandstand seating for the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series event. This represents a savings in excess of $400. Individual event tickets are also being offered through December 31 with discounts ranging from 15 to 50 percent.
