Miller Motorsports Park 2007 Season Starts This Weekend TOOELE VALLEY, UTAH “” Winter is finally over, spring has arrived in Utah and it’s time to go racing at Miller Motorsports Park! The internationally-renowned road racing facility will open its second racing season this weekend with a little something for everyone. The weekend will include the first event of the season for the Honda Presents the Plaza Cycle Masters of the Mountains Series, a seven-race series developed by Miller Motorsports Park, run by the Utah Sportbike Association (USBA) and sanctioned by the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) to encourage and develop fun and competitive road racing at the club and regional levels. Also participating during the weekend will be the Utah Region of the Sports Car Club of America, which will conduct a regional race for a variety of classes. The cars will be on the 2.20-mile West Track while the motorcycles will be competing on the 2.24-mile East Track. The 0.9-mile Miller Kart Track will also be busy with karters racing on Saturday. On Sunday, the Miller Kart Track will be host to the Honda Supermoto School at Miller Motorsports Park, with 2006 AMA Supermoto Lites Champion Cassidy Anderson as lead instructor. “It’s been a long winter for us,” said MMP CEO/General Manager Alan Wilson, “and we have been anxious for spring to arrive so we can go racing again! We have continued to make improvements to the facility during the off-season, and we hope that everyone will come out and help us kick off what we think is going to be an outstanding racing season.” Tickets for the Miller Motorsports Park season opener are all general-admission, with no assigned seating, and will be priced at $7.50 per person, per day.
