Four posterboard enlargements/reproductions of Roadracing World magazine’s July 2007 cover prominently autographed by six-time AMA Superbike Champion Mat Mladin, who is pictured on the cover, are being auctioned off individually on eBay (www.ebay.com) to benefit the Roadracing World Action Fund (~http://actionfund.roadracingworld.com/~). The covers (eBay item number: 120156685872) measure 30 x 24 inches and are approximately 3/8 inch thick. In baseball card grading terms, the covers are in “Excellent” condition due to some of their corners being slightly dinged. All four are in equal condition. Posterboard enlargements/reproductions like these are normally used by Roadracing World Publishing, Inc. for promotional displays or gifts, but these four are being auctioned off to benefit the Roadracing World Action Fund, a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization with a mission of preventing racetrack injuries by promoting motorcycle safety and advocating the use of soft barrier technology. Since its start in April 2001, the Roadracing World Action Fund has raised over $523,000, through private and corporate donations and through auctions such as these, to deploy dozens of soft barriers to racetracks and racing organizations around the country, saving numerous racers and trackday riders from serious injuries or worse.
