7th Annual Barber Vintage Festival Offers More Activities for Motorcycle Fans of All Ages Birmingham, Ala. (September 7, 2011)- The seventh annual Barber Vintage Festival returns to the Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham, AL, October 7 – 9, 2011. The nation’s fastest growing celebration of vintage bikes will offer on- and offtrack racing, as well as many other activities dedicated to the history and preservation of motorcycles. The American Historic Racing Motorcycle Association (AHRMA) will be competing throughout the weekend, including Road Racing, Trials, Cross-Country and Motocross. In addition to the racing action, the Barber Vintage Festival will also feature the following activities for fans of all ages: World Famous Barber Swap Meet with 400+ Vendors “Ducstock”, the Ducati.net National Ducati Rally American Motor Drome’s “Wall of Death” Stunt Show Aeroshell Aerobatic Air Show Century Race, featuring motorcycles made before 1911 Southern Vintage Fire Apparatus Association Display Several vintage bike shows, including: AMCA (Antique Motorcycle Club of America) VJMC (Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club) Motorcycle Classics and much more VJMC Pancake Breakfast (Saturday only) Merchandise Vendors Wide Variety of Concessions and More! Tickets to the Barber Vintage Festival begin at $20. Children 12 and under will be admitted free with a ticketed adult. Tickets can be purchased by visiting www.barbermotorsports.com. Camping passes and motorcycle parade lap passes are available for purchase as well. In addition to the Barber Vintage Festival, the Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum will also feature special displays, technical seminars and “Motorcycles by Moonlight”, a fund raising dinner benefiting the Museum itself. About Barber Motorsports Park and ZOOM Motorsports: Barber Motorsports Park opened in the spring of 2003. Since its inception, ZOOM Motorsports, LLC has been the exclusive event promoter for the events at the Park. The 2.38 mile racing circuit is 45 feet wide, with 17 turns and elevation changes of more than 80 feet.
