Women of the 2008 SUPERSHOW Prove that Motorcycling isn’t Just for Men Anymore – Helen Twowheels Among the Many Women Featured at the January Show – Wednesday, November 28, 2007 (Toronto, Canada) From speed to safety and everything in between, women now have a voice in every aspect of the motorcycle community. Whether it is Helen Twowheels with her close to half a million miles on the road or Julie Graves, motorcycle builder, women have proven that they can do, and enjoy, everything to do with motorcycling. Helen, Julie and many other women in motorcycling can be seen at the North American International Motorcycle SUPERSHOW January 4 – 6, 2008 at the Toronto International Centre. Helen Twowheels of Michigan is a long distance BMW Rider (48-65,000 km/year) who has developed the Helen 2Wheels Super Packing System and has become known at the Packing Queen. Out of necessity and experience, Helen developed a packing system that is specific to motorcycles effective, and most of all, safe. She knows how to pack, what to carry and what to leave home better than anyone. See her on the Touring and Cruiser Stage in Hall 2 while she shares bits of that expertise. Who knew that packing could be so much fun? Meet custom bike builder Julie Graves of Vermont, who holds her own in the metric customs world. See Smackdown, the latest creation from Julie and her husband Tommy Graves in Hall 5, the Choppers & Custom Bike Hall. Julie and Tommy are competing in the Pro Builders class for the prestigious Canada Cup. In March 2007 Trillium Muir from Sudbury, Ontario became the World’s Fastest Woman on a Motorcycle after her run at Maxton Raceway was clocked at 218 mph. In June 2007, she became the first and only woman to enter the 200mph club on an open wheeled motorcycle. To top off her 2007 season, in September she upped her 218mph to 222mph. Meet Trillium along with her record setting Suzuki in the Nickel City Racing booth in the Lucas Oil Performance and Racing Hall 4.
