Martin Finnegan, Callum Ramsey and Cameron Donald joined the Klaffi Honda Team for the 39th Macao Motorcycle Grand Prix on Saturday 19th Nov 2005. Martin Finnegan (Superbike # 45) participated with a Honda Fireblade, Callum Ramsey (Supersport # 60) and Cameron Donald (Supersport # 86) with a Klaffi Honda CBR 600 RR.

Macau is the most challenging circuit in the world and maybe even tougher than the Tourist Trophy Isle of Man. The Circuito da Guia with its 6.2 kilometres leads through a real street canyon and up to a hilly copse. And then there is the Melco Hairpin with its generous width of 7 meters!

The impressive entry list of the 39th Macau GP included well known names as Michael Rutter, John McGuinness, Chris Palmer and Pere Riba.

The Klaffi Honda riders proved their performance already before the race. In the Qualifying sessions Callum Ramsey was fastest Supersport rider, Cameron Donald 4th. Martin Finnegan 14th in Superbike.

On Saturday the competitors had 15 laps to go. The weather conditions were perfect, sunny and dry. Callum Ramsey and Cameron Donald both did a great job. Cameron finished third in Supersport. Team mate Callum Ramsey was already on second position but crashed unfortunately in the last lap. Martin Finnegan / Superbike had a lot of bad luck at Macau. Caused by a technical problem he was not able to keep speed.

Superbike: 1. Michael Rutter (Honda), 2. John McGuiness (Honda), 3. Les Shand (Yamaha).

Supersport: 1. Steve Allan (Kawasaki), 2. Ian Hutchinson (Honda), 3. Cameron Donald (Klaffi Honda)
