I would like to inform you our progress on MORIWAKI Moto2 machine development. We brought 2 of MD600 proto machines to the post GP Valencia test this week. This was the first MD600 test abroad and we prepared proto ver.#9 and #10. Our development rider, Shogo Moriwaki joined the test, took the #10 machine whilst a rider from Gresini Moto2 Team, Xavier Simeon, the Superstock1000 2009 world champion was taking ver.#9. Simeon marked 1min37.279sec on day2. Shogo Moriwaki also did very well at his very first time in Valencia, 1min40sec on day1. He even improved the lap time to 1min38.7sec on day2, surprised many people there. Toni Elias also joined from the 2nd half of day2, vigorously taking his part of the test to check the machine. On day3, Shogo rode the ver.#10 for 90min before he handed the machine to Toni. We set up the machine to Toni’s riding and compared with ver.#9. He reached 1min37.3sec, constantly keeping then 250ccGP race pace. It was very fruitful test especially we had different world class riders to try on for their first time.
