Longevity Racing – Wealthymen.com’s Barrett Long had a successful tire test at Daytona using production Pirelli 2007 tires on his 2006 Yamaha YZF-R6. Long was able to lap 1/2-second quicker than on last year’s production tire. Long also had the fourth-fastest segment one split (start finish to exit turn 2) and completed more laps then any other rider at the test. Long’s consistent quick laps indicate the new production Pirelli tires will be hard to beat. Barrett Long and Longevity Racing are looking for sponsorship for the upcoming season.
