Sussex, Wisc. – With the last few days ticking by, the Red Flag Fund looks forward to a great turnout for their first ever Charity Golf Outing held on Monday, June 9th to benefit seriously injured motorcycle roadracers. The event will be held conveniently in the Elkhart Lake, Wisc area at the Quit Qui Oc Golf Club the day after the AMA Superbike race weekend at Road America. “While there isn’t a Ferrari or a Desmosedici GP8 awarded for making par; racers, golfers and all us other hacks will find a shiny new 2008 Buell 1125R up for grabs on the lucky number 7 hole if you can sink it in one shot, and there are other cool prizes on every hole,” said Jeff Kufalk, President Red Flag Fund. I think there’s even a side bet going on to see how many times there will be chunks of sod flying farther than the ball I try to hit,” said Kufalk. “Rest assured anything crazy will be captured by photographer Brian J. Nelson, and enjoyed by all courtesy of emcee Greg White. It’s just a great opportunity to share some fun and laughs with fellow enthusiasts while raising funds for a well needed cause.” Registration begins at 10:00 AM, and golfing begins at 11:00 AM, with drinks and a reception at 5 PM and dinner at 6 PM, followed by awards and a charity auction.
