More On ACU’s Suzuki GSX-R600 Trophy

From a press release issued by GSX-R Trophy Press Office: THE ACU Suzuki GSX-R600 Trophy is pleased to announce that it will run two rounds of the Championship as support races to the British MotoGP which will be held on the 21st – 22nd June at Donington Park. It is a superb opportunity for the aspiring young Trophy riders to showcase their talent in front of the GP crowd and paddock. They will be taking to the same Tarmac as seven times World Champion Valentino Rossi and newly crowed Champion Casey Stoner, putting them in the enviable position of rubbing shoulders with motorcycling’s biggest stars. The aim of the ACU Suzuki GSX-R600 Trophy is to develop and encourage new talent into road racing. The cost effective one make series makes that possible by furnishing its riders with everything they need to go racing and backs it up by offering once in a life time opportunities. As well as racing at the MotoGP the riders have the chance to ride in the GSX-R750 Cup which supports World Superbikes and the winner will race the Rizla Suzuki British Superbike at the Race of the Year at Mallory Park.
