On February 5, 2012 a press release was submitted by Torque Agency-Idaho identifying Josh Herrin as the “Daytona Sportbike Champion” recognizing Josh’s 1st place performance at the March 12, 2011 series opener at Daytona 200 Week at the famed Daytona National Speedway in Dayton Beach, Florida. Although Josh Herrin took top honors in that weekend, Danny Eslick is the undisputed Champion for the 2011 AMA SportBike Final Point Standings earning 275 points for the season. Josh Herrin placing 2nd in total point standings 256 points.
